Argentine Tango

If you have ever wanted to learn Argentine Tango, now is your chance.  With well over two hours of expert tuition each Sunday you should be up to speed in no time.  Absolute beginners are welcome every week, as are experienced dancers.  There will be a chance to practice between the classes, and free-dancing after the classes have finished.

2.30pm Beginners - level 1

3.15pm Beginners/Improvers - level 2

Over a matter of weeks these classes will cover the basic elements of Argentine Tango (Basic Step, Weight Change, Side Step, Ochos, Reverse Ochos, Rock Step, Salida, Windmill, Reverse Start, Parallel and Cross System).  These moves form the basis for the Bronze Medal exam and are an essential pre-requisite to attending the intermediate/advanced class, although you don't have to take the exam!

4.15pm Intermediate/advanced - levels3/4

More advanced moves for experienced dancers.  A routine will be taught that  will add style, technique, and challenging moves to your dancing.

If you take this class you will be expected to be able to execute the basic moves taught in the first two classes, with confidence. The basic elements will NOT be explained in this class
